Bucknell University MakerSpace Network

There are several spaces on campus that are available to support projects developed by Bucknell students, faculty, and staff.  These include:

  1.  The Mooney Innovative Design Laboratory is located in the Dana Engineering Building and has capabilities including a laser cutter, 3D printers, and assorting hand tools and tabletop assembly space.
  2. The 7th St. Studio is the flagship MakerSpace on campus.  It includes capabilities supporting traditional crafts such as sewing, painting, and pottery, as well as modern digital design and fabrication tools such as a laser cutter, 3D printers, vinyl cutter, CNC router, vacuum former, and other assorting hand tools.
  3. The Maker-E is located in the Dana Engineering Building and supports the development of electronic hardware.  The MakerE houses an array of fabrication and diagnostic tools including printed circuit board mill, pick and place robot, surface mount soldering oven, and several power supplies, multi-meters, frequency generators, and oscilloscopes.
